How Hinton Restorations can work with you
My workshop studio is in the centre of Tunbridge Wells at the rear of 20 Camden Road. Deliveries and collections can be made by vehicle right outside my door, simply turn off Camden Road into my driveway.
Free Estimates
I will give you an estimate of the cost of the work you want done free of charge on the spot at the workshop.
Collection and Delivery
You can deliver your piece to my workshop studio, or it can be collected from your premises at a very reasonable charge. Collection and delivery charges vary according to the distance involved and the size and type of the piece being collected or delivered. You can rest assured that your piece will be carefully handled and I am fully insured against accidents or theft.
Time scale
Once you have commissioned the work and accepted my estimate of the costs involved, I will give you a time frame for doing the work. The time frame will take into consideration the work needed to be done, and also the amount of work I have on the books at the time.
Staying within budget and time frame
I do my best to deliver the work on time and within budget. If things change during the course of doing the job, I will always contact you and advise of any delay or extra cost, but this is very rare…ask our many happy customers.
Work done on your premises
It is preferable to do the work in my studio workshop. If you have a particularly large piece, such as a big table or a wardrobe, it may be easier to do the work where the piece is, depending on what needs doing.
Payment
Full payment, less your deposit, is expected upon collection. By adhering to this we are able to keep our costs and prices low by reducing office paperwork and the cost of payment collection.
